Prathyasha Foundation conducted a national level Human Rights Convention and Motor Rally for the differently abled and the aged to achieve and protect their rights and opportunities based on the Disability Act 1995, on 21st September 2008 Sunday at Kizhakkekkotta Swathi Thirunal Auditorium, Trivandrum from 10 a.m in the morning.

The Human Rights convention emphasizes in educating the public and the differently abled on awareness and to ensure the implementation of Indian Disability Act 1995. (Inclined slopes facility in all public places and public transport system). The convention conducted with seminars, discussions, talks, legal assistance, presentation of resolutions and others. The convention inaugurated by Justice N.Krishnan Nayar Upalokayukta, presided over the convention by Simon George, Chairman Prathyasha Foundation,stick on ceremony of international emblem on vehicle done by S.Varghese, member of Human Rights Commission. Talks by Adv. Sandhya, Human rights Law Network Ernakulam, Satheeshchandran Nair, Sajimon Eravinellooor, Mamachan Thellakam,Y.Raju, K.V.Ramachandran Master,Vanchiyoor Mohanan, Abdul Kalam.. The subject covered the difficulties faced by the differently abled at different stages of their life and the implementation of the Act to face the challenges. The entire vehicle in the Motor rally beared the International Emblem of the differently abled.
