The Trust was officially launched on 25th June 2005 at the Prathyasha centre by the Honorable Minister for Social Welfare and Industries Mr. V. K. Ibrahim Kunju at 4 p.m, with the inauguration of the Prathyasha Super

There are around 30 lakh disabled people in Kerala and the number goes up daily. Any normal person could unfortunately become disabled at any moment.
The launching of the Prathyasha Foundation has become turning point in the life of the disabled.The disabled persons are being provided with medical equipment’s such as wheelchairs, crutches, hearing aids, callipers, shoes and walking sticks and self-employment oriented machines such as computers, Photostat and sewing machines. Financial help for the
educational development and medical treatment were distributed during the function. |
