Prathyasha Foundation conducted 9th Pre-Marital Meet at Ernakulam Town Hall on 15th December 2009. The meet started at 9:00 AM., Mr. Hon’able Justice C. K. Abdul Rahim, High Court of Kerala, Ernakulam inaugurated the meet. Prof Mercy Williams, Mayor, Cochin Corporation presided over the programme. Welcome speech was conducted by Mr.Simon George, Chairman, Prathyasha foundation. Mr. Domenic Presentation, MLA, Mr. K. Babu, MLA, Leaders of different NGO organizations and Leaders from cultural field felicitated in the meet. People belong to all category of disability from different parts of Kerala participated in the meet with their family members. The normal persons willing to marry the disabled also participated in the meet. Boys and girls got oppertunity to introduce themselves before the audience. Many got life partners from the premarital meet. All the Visual and Print Medias covered the programme. Rajagiri College of Social Science gave counseling for the differently abled in the meet.
