7 th Pre marital meet was held on 18 th June 2008 at E.M.S Memorial Town hall,Ernakulam in association with Social Welfare Department,Govt . of Kerala. The importance of this meet was,differently abled people from the state of Kerala,AndhraPradesh,Tamilnadu and Karnataka participated and the meet was inaugurated by Mr.Syed Shahir,Director,Empower Institute of Communicative English and N.L.P.,Andhra Pradesh , first among 10 lakhs visually impaired to secure an M.B.A degree in Andhra Pradesh.Eminent personalities like Smt.Srimathy Teacher , Hon.Minister for Health, Kerala,Elst T Sebastain , Assistant Director , State Social Welfare Department, Sri. K.G. George ,Managing Director , Film Development Corporation,Kerala ,Sri.Jacob Vadakkanjery , Ganadhian and Doctor of Naturopathy participated in the programme.

                   On this occasion Prathasha foundation organized a seminar regarding family life of the differently abled and honored the people who have chosen the differently abled as their life partners and the differently abled couples who have completed 25 years of wedded life. Prathyasha foundation distributed  self employment  equipment to the differently abled on the day. The program also covered legal  assistance and counseling for the differently abled. State Social Welfare Department  , presented awareness seminar about the schemes , privileges,and projects for the welfare of the differently abled under the State Social welfare Department.
